He is the son of Gary Stanhouse, and is employed with McPherson Automotive, in Du Quoin. Jacob plans to attend Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL.

This month Distributors Warehouse and Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts would like to recognize Zinda Baggett as our outstanding employee of the month!
Zinda began her career with DWI at our Metropolis location in December 1968. Zinda continued her employment with our company when DWI relocated to Paducah, KY, in 1969. She continued to work in our Paducah distribution facility until the birth of her son, Brian. After taking a 15 month leave of absence to stay home with Brian, Zinda again re-joined our company at our corporate store home office in Metropolis. In the early 90's our warehouse and corporate store office teams merged into our newly renovated offices located in our Paducah distribution facilities and Zinda again began making the trek to Paducah. Zinda now serves as the head of our human resources department where she oversees our insurance and payroll needs. When not busy at work, Zinda and her husband, David, like to travel to Florida to spend time with their son and take vacations with their friends. Thanks Zinda for you dedication throughout the years!!

Distributors Warehouse and Bumper to Bumper are extremely proud of our dedicated employees. Beginning in April, we will be highlighting one of these outstanding individuals monthly.
This month's outstanding employee is Billy Boyd of our Bumper to Bumper store in Princeton, KY! Billy began his service with our company on April 23, 1973. Billy's early duties included in-store ordering, inventory control, outside sales and delivery. Upon the retirement of our Princeton store manager, Johnny Aikins, Billy took over the responsibilities of Princeton store manager. Billy and his staff, Tom Ward, Ed Hunt and James Warfield continue to offer outstanding service to our Princeton customers. Billy and his wife, Mollie, continue to reside in Princeton and are the proud parents of a son, Stephen, and two daughters, Nancy and Natalie. During his off-work time you can find Billy on the golf course where he still enjoys "hitting them a mile". Thanks Billy for your dedicated service to our company. It is individuals like you that have made this company successful for 75+ years.

Congratulations to all our trip winners plus our two national trip winners. Thus far, Gary and Sharon Houston, owners of Mercer's Garage in Paducah have attended the Rodney Atkins concert in Kansas.
Mike and Shelly Wright, owners of Wright Bros. Auto Service, located in Jonesboro, Illinois, will travel to Charlotte, North Carolina in October to attend both the Nationwide and Sprint Cup races courtesy of BTB Auto Parts and our Anna location.

It is with a deep sense of regret to inform everyone of the sudden passing of Tony Pease, store manager for Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts in Madisonville, Kentucky. Tony had worked for our company as a store manager at Crittenden Auto Parts and Bumper to Bumper Madisonville since 2007, and had previously worked at Bumper to Bumper Providence since 2001.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Vanover Funeral Home in Clay, Kentucky, with visitation scheduled on Tuesday, August 24 between 4:00pm – 8:00pm, and the funeral on Wednesday, August 25 at 1:00pm.
Our prayers and deepest sympathy go out to Tony’s family and friends during this very difficult time.

It is with sadness to announce that Ed Atkins, former store manager and a 36 year veteran of IKT Service in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, December 31.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00am Wednesday at Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home in Hopkinsville, with burial at East End Cemetery in Cadiz. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Our deepest sympathies are extended to his wife Anne and the rest of Ed’s family.

Thanks to all who came to our 75th Anniversary Picnic, Sunday, Oct. 25th, at Fort Massac State Park, in Metropolis!! Over 300 employees and their families participated in the festivities. We had catfish and BBQ catered in by Big Daddy's BBQ, live music, free t-shirts, door prizes, and even a moonwalk for the kids! Thanks to everyone for a fantastic 75 years!!

Wagner has notified us that they will immediately begin shipping Guardian drum and rotor products with a new label and part prefix. The new label is OneSource and 52-(dash) prefix will change to a 30-(dash) prefix. The product in the box will not change. There are some price adjustments, but the pricing is competitive with the current Guardian pricing. In addition, they are making more SKU's available in OneSource than were previously available in Guardian.
Due to the fact that this has come about unexpectedly, you will start to see some supercession of the 52- number to the 30- number on some part numbers. We should have our warehouse inventories relabeled within two weeks.
While we apologize for the short notice, we want to thank you in advance for both your cooperation and support as we make this transition. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact DWI and we will gladly address any questions or concerns that you may have.
